Many
times when a company is trying to ramp up quickly for an upcoming project
the idea of utilizing a Job Fair comes to the forefront. Sometimes
companies may want to staff key positions without letting its competition
what they are up to or it maybe in a remote location where
they do not have a presence. These efforts can quickly become large
drains on internal resources
and the time for an organization’s managers. The
event has to be planned, staffed, candidates have to be initially
screened, then matched with positions, contacted for follow up, and hired. This process
can become very cumbersome and in many cases valuable candidates can fall
through the cracks by a company not acting quickly.
